We're tasting clean and tea-like up front, with a soft cooked agave sweetness and a bright pop of kiwi berry on the finish. Sound yum? That's because it is yum. 

About the coffee:

Fernando García, a social activist, moved from Caquetá to Huila in 2004 after being displaced by conflict in his home region. That experience later shaped the coffee farm he and his wife, Alejandra, established in El Pital, Huila, Colombia together. 

With training in crop diversification, they developed a sustainable farming model focused on cultivating distinctive coffee varietals such as Chiroso and Tabi, selected for their quality and resilience rather than the more commonly grown Cenicafé in the region. The couple grow a diverse range of crops, first growing beans, then peaches and finally coffee. Alejandra plays a key role on the farm, overseeing daily operations and managing the workforce.

The tasting notes, green tea, cooked agave, kiwi berry, might sound unusual, but they're
what make this coffee special. It's got this gentle sweetness and bright acidity that make it incredibly drinkable, whether someone's after something familiar or wants to try something a bit different.
