This vibrantly juicy lot is produced by Jairo Arcila, a third-generation coffee grower from Quindío, Colombia. He is also married to Luz Helena Salazar, producer of our recent release: Forbidden Love!

Jairo began his career at Colombia’s second-largest exporter, where he worked as Mill Manager for over 40 years before retiring from the role in 2019. For this lot, the ripest Chiroso cherries are carefully handpicked and delivered fresh to La Pradera in sealed GrainPro bags. After floating, they undergo a 48-hour dry anaerobic fermentation with mango pulp added, which brings a lively tropical sweetness and notes of ripe mango, peach, and a juicy fruit forward character.The coffee is then fully washed, with all water recycled and naturally filtered through vetiver beds, before being gently dried on raised beds.
